Professor Karim Meeran did his undergraduate and postgraduate training in London, and then proceeded to an academic career at Imperial College. He is a Fellow both of the Royal College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists. He is the Training Programme Director for Metabolic Medicine and Endocrinology in London and is on the Education Committee for the European Society of Endocrinology.
He has over 100 peer reviewed articles and has published on Cushing’s syndrome, pituitary diseases, and the replacement of patients with pituitary and adrenal failure with glucocorticoids.
